TEACHERS NOTE:

Children should be given a sheet of white A4 paper and asked to design their own poster of an animal of their choice.  My example of the horse should be shown and then the template should be left on the board so that they know what to include.

The aim of the exercise is to USE THE LANGUAGE and INFORMATION that they have learned in class over the years.  Please reiterate this to the children that I am not looking for detailed information that they havent learned before.  

When the children have finished, they can stick it on a piece of coloured paper and it can be hung up.  If there is time they can present a few of their posters.  If not a few can be presented at the begining of the next classes.
