  • Match the pictures with the words.  
  • Discuss how a flower begins it's life and what each part of the flowers role is when it grows.
  • Demo how to put the booklet together.  
  • Children should add the TITLES to each page.

Can you name some of them?  
Go through the spring flowers in the flipchart practicing pronunciation.

GAME:

Teach TPR for each part of the FLOWER.

SEED:  Make a circle with your hands.

ROOTS:  Shake out one leg.

STEM:  Stand straight with your hand straight up in the air.

LEAVES:  Arms stretched out horizonally.

FLOWER:  Make a circle using whole arms above your head.

 

Call out a part of the flower and the children should do the TPR.  Change...do the TPR and the children should call out the part of the flower.
