Indesign is essentially used to create booklets and brochures with multiple pages which follows a layout and is composed of images, text, vectors and shapes.
If you have already been using Photoshop and Illustrator, this class will be much easier for you than a beginner. I would strongly recommend you familiarize yourself with those two if you are not already familiar with them.
