The Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC) provides content and support for this online curriculum management system which is designed as a resource for teachers, schools, and districts across the state. All of the system’s content is aligned to the most current versions of the Texas State Board of Education-adopted TEKS.
Lancaster ISD is committed to providing research and data-driven instruction that encompasses 21st Century skills, problem-solving opportunities, and rigorous content application. To ensure we ignite learning that translates into sustainable success, Math and Science classes should follow a prescriptive instructional delivery plan.
The Lancaster district-wide STEM structure sets the expectation that when students graduate from high school, they will leave our school system STEM-fluent with a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering and math and will be college and career ready. We will ensure that every student is provided access to STEM through various instructional activities, including but not limited to Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Deeper Learning (DL) strategies.
